Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp dried mint
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Method

  1. Add softened cream cheese, crumbled feta, butter, and milk to a food processor. Pulse everything together until you get a smooth, creamy base — this takes about 1 minute. Don't overmix or the feta gets grainy, so stop before you think you're done. I personally blend for exactly 45 seconds then check the texture.
  2. Pour in the extra-virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic next. Pulse another 20-30 seconds until everything's fully combined and you can't see any oil streaks. The mixture should look fluffy and cloud-like at this point, which means you're nailing it.
  3. Sprinkle in the dried dill, dried mint, black pepper, and sea salt. Pulse just 5-10 seconds to distribute the herbs evenly throughout your whipped feta dip honey base. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed — add more salt if it tastes flat, or more lemon if you want extra brightness.
  4. Transfer the dip to a shallow serving bowl or small platter. Use the back of a spoon to create a slight indent or well in the center. This creates that gorgeous presentation you see at fancy restaurants and honestly makes people ooh and ahh before they even taste it.
  5. Drizzle the 2 tbsp honey into that center well you just made, letting it pool naturally. Add a few extra drops of olive oil around the honey for that Instagram-worthy look. The contrast between the creamy white dip and golden honey is what makes this so visually stunning.
  6. Sprinkle a tiny pinch of extra dill and mint over the top if you have it. Add a few cracks of black pepper for color and texture — this really elevates the whole presentation game.
  7. Let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving so flavors have time to mingle. If you're making this ahead, cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days, then give it a quick stir and add fresh honey drizzle right before people arrive.
